Intro

Hi I’m Aniket Rana,

Currently in my final year of B.Tech at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) in Electronics and Communication. You can call me aniumbott (Don’t ask why, Its just my username of almost all the profiles).

Inspiration

My father is an Electrician which inspired me a lot, he bought me my first computer, Since then I became obsessed with Computers and stuff related to it. I’ve qualified JEE and I got into one of the best college in India.

Journey

While I was in my 1st year of engineering I started to explore web-development and met amazing people in the community who helpd me to grow. We also have a subject of DSA in our curriculum in which we learn the C and C++ and I join the CP gang as well you can check out my coding profiles. While learning the frontend development I came across Blender a software to play with 3D models, And as now I have my own laptop so I built some of my own, checkout here. Once I was reading about The Linux Org and got familiar with the legend Linus Torvalds and become obsessed with Linux and Open-Source, I took the courage and now I use Arch BTW.(no dual boot).

Interests

Apart from my basic profile I like to head podcasts and read books. I read Naval Ravikant’s book The Almanack of Naval Ravikant which chnged my way of thinking. That was my cannon event for reading books.In order to keep notes of my learning I also started wrtiting my book reviews. I like to listen Joe Rogan’s and Jack Rhysider’s podcasts. I am an old song guy who likes to vibe and chill while coding, Checkout my Spotify. I admire Edward Snowden a lot, He is my idol.
